Paige Poe is a Houston based poet, wordsmith, and performer. She recently graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor’s in theatre and English. Her poetry has been published in eleven40seven, Brave Voices Magazine, and the anthology Texas’ Best Emerging Poets of 2017. Inspired by poets like Mary Oliver and Anne Sexton, Paige strives to present modern femininity, the intricacies of nature, and the shifting world around us in the context of her own experiences. She strongly believes in feminism, equal rights, education, and the healing power of art. As a wordsmith-for-hire, Paige has worked with churches, schools, and individuals to create excellent content in a number of forms. She recently collaborated with The Rev. Charlie Holt to create a forthcoming devotional on the book of Hebrews, and she is currently working with a team at St. John the Divine to create a textbook for a class on the New Testament. She is always looking for new opportunities in her community and hopes to appear onstage soon. With a number of projects in the works, who knows what she will do next!
